In this installment of The Tool of the week, we have a trifecta.
Time to "Delay" The ethics probe.
Tom Delay: For going above and beyond the call of duty of being a scumbag.
This scumbag called for transparency in government. What he actually meant was transparency for anyone outside the Republican party.
Mr. Frist goes to Washington.
Bill Frist: Mr. Frist seems to have a very short memory.
He seems to have forgotten the 60 nominations he and fellow Replutocrats, shot down during the Clinton Administration. Up and Down vote indeed. Now he wants to do away with a tool the founding fathers ( I use the term Founding Fathers to include anybody who did some kind of work in the 3 branches prior to 1994. If the likes of Bill Frist and Rick Santorum can be strict Constitutionalists and continuiously remind us that the "Founding Fathers" could not have know how things like the filibuster would be used. Well if thats the case, I bet the framers of the constitution would have been mighty surprised with the AK 47 and a whole host of assault weapons.) installed to help insure that no party could have absolute power. If we used a straight up and down vote in 2000 Al Gore would have been president. So I do not want hear about majority rule.
It's Santorum not sanitarium.
Rick Santorum: Rick Santorum, What more can be said about this self righteous twit.
Ok I'll admit it I do not like a single thing about this man, except maybe the fact that he tried to repeal a 1990 tax on beer. Man, way to go Rick. Rick has found a way to piggy back his name on the whole filibuster thing, so he can insure his presidential bid in 08. Do I smell a Frist Santorum ticket? Or will Rick and Bill, or Neil and Bob as I like to call them try to destroy eachother to be the first in line to fall to their knees at the alter of their masters, the religious extremists.
Rick Santorum may become a regular in the Tool Shed.
